Dear Parents and Families of Incoming Kindergartners:

We are proud to present a very special slideshow entitled “It’s Time For Kindergarten!” for you to “visit” with Kindergartners throughout July and August. 

Please try to find the time to sit with your Kindergartner and to read each slide to him or her so that the information and smiling adult faces in the slideshow become familiar and reassuring.  Our slideshow was created to support children’s excitement about starting Kindergarten and to ease whatever anxiety they might have, while letting the children know that they will be warmly welcomed and tenderly cared for at Coventry Grammar School. 

Starting Kindergarten is such a very important event for young children.  We hope that our slideshow, like a good storybook, will be one that children will want to have read to them over and over again during the summer!
