My name is Eileen Hosey.  I am excited to be part of the Kindergarten team at Coventry Grammar School.   I started my teaching career in 1991 in Massachusetts, working as a preschool and kindergarten teacher.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Assumption College in Worcester, MA and I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Reading and Language Arts at Eastern Connecticut State University.  For the last seven years, I was fortunate to work in the reading room at C.G.S.

I have lived in Coventry for fourteen years.  My two daughters have gone through C.G.S. so I know that this is a very special place to learn and grow!  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and learning new things! 

I love teaching and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to provide positive learning experiences that motivate and inspire children to become life-long learners.
