Mr. Kyer has been a teacher for 18 years.  He has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, Second Grade and Seventh Grade.  He began teaching First Grade at Coventry Grammar School in 2008.  Mr. Kyer is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University.  He has two children who also attend Coventry Public Schools.  Mr. Kyer is also a Boy Scout leader and in Troop 65.
