My name is Mr. Careau.  I teach general music here at the Grammar School.   I have been teaching in Coventry for eighteen years and feel this is the finest school system I’ve ever worked in.  Here’s a little background information on my professional and personal life:

I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Anna Maria College in 1983.  Anna Maria College is a small private school located north of Worcester in a small town called Paxton.  I received my Master of Music degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA in 1987.  My area of expertise is elementary general music.  I’ve taught in several communities including Hubbardston, MA, Worcester, MA and Putnam, CT.  My hobbies include sound engineering and composing all kinds of music.  I own a recording studio in North Windham called Sighlent Sage Studio.  Yes, sighlent is the correct spelling!  I also like to ski, figure skate, and custom build small gas powered engines. I really enjoy teaching your children and hope that I serve as a positive role model in their lives.
