Mrs. Babcock
I have been teaching at Coventry Grammar School since 2005. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2001 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and History. In 2009, I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. When I am not in school, my husband and I are usually very busy taking care of our son, Reid, who was born in January 2008. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, spending time with my family and playing with my dog and two cats in my spare time.
I work very hard with the students of my class to develop a community of learners. We grow together throughout the school year and celebrate each other’s successes. I firmly believe in working together with parents to make their child’s school year successful. I love teaching first grade and couldn’t imagine a more rewarding job.
