The district successfully developed and implemented a new preschool classroom in response to a demonstrated need for additional early childhood placements. This expansion was driven by a growing waitlist of students and reflects the district’s commitment to increasing access to high quality early learning opportunities.

The classroom was constructed over the summer of 2025 and was fully operational in time to welcome students at the start of the school year in September. Notably, all costs associated with the development and implementation of the classroom were funded through the preschool program account, with no impact on taxpayer funds.

This initiative has allowed the district to better meet community demand, reduce the number of students on the waitlist, and provide more students with access to a strong early educational foundation.
