Initiative Achievement
The district continues its commitment to transparency and community engagement by maintaining its annual School Safety Forum for parents and the community. This forum provides an important opportunity to outline and explain the coordinated efforts between the school district and local law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of all schools.
The forum is held each spring and is jointly presented by the Superintendent, the Chief of Police, and the District Security Specialist, reinforcing the strong partnership between the district and public safety officials. To maximize accessibility and participation, the forum is offered in a hybrid format, allowing families to attend either in-person or virtually. This year’s forum is scheduled for May 19.
This ongoing initiative supports open communication, builds community trust, and ensures that families are informed about the district’s comprehensive approach to school safety.
