Annual Student Update Now Open

Catherine Drury

We look forward to welcoming your student back to school for the 2022-2023 school year!  As a reminder, Coventry Public Schools integrates its annual update of information via PowerSchool (our student information system).  Yearly update of this information is critical to ensuring we have accurate information in case of an emergency.

Annual Update Forms (which include health forms) are now available through PowerSchool. To access, please login to your PowerSchool account and look for the Forms link in the left hand navigation.  Specifically, you will need to complete all forms in the Annual Health Update and Annual Update sections located under the General Forms tab.  A general guide for this process can be accessed by clicking on this link -  Accessing Annual Student Update.

To help provide support to all parents/guardians in this process, members of the IT department will be available through our help desk by emailing us at help@coventryct.org.  All directions, including videos, have been posted on our website on the Annual Student Update page.  In addition, should you have any questions, please contact your child's school.

Thank you in advance for your attention in this matter!

For Parents of Students in Grades 3-12

All students in Grades 3-12 will be assigned a Chromebook for use in school and at home.  In a practice approved by the Coventry Board of Education, a $25 Insurance Fee will be assessed to all parents and/or guardians annually.  Similar to last year, families may pay the fee through the Parent Portal at this time as well, using either a debit or credit card by initially clicking on the Balance link in the left hand navigation.  Please know if you choose to use this option, a small service charge fee will be added at the time of purchase.  You may also pay by check (made payable to CHS Activity Fund) or cash by either mailing your payment (with student name and grade) directly to your child’s school or by leaving it in the drop box at your child’s school.  If the insurance fee is not paid, any repairs required will be at full cost to the families.  Students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch can have this fee waived.  If you are unsure of your status or would like to discuss this further, please contact Beth Pratt, our Director of Food Services.  You may also complete the attached Addendum form.  In addition, if your family is experiencing a financial hardship, please contact your child’s school.

Please see the directions below that will outline how to access the system and complete payment online - Using Online Payment Through PowerSchool/eFunds.  You can also access these directions, along with a video overview of the process, on the Device Fees & Online Payment page on our website.
