CAS Art Awards 2024

Paula Sandahl

Each year, Coventry High School (CHS) nominates two students for the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) High School Arts Award. CAS annually honors two outstanding seniors from each of the member schools in the state who excel in the performing or visual arts. Excelling in the performing or visual arts is of primary importance in the selection. Scholarship and Leadership are also  supporting criteria.

This year, the CHS Visual and Performing Arts Departments selected seniors Ashlynn Ackroyd and Aeron Chmielecki to receive this award. The pair were honored at an awards ceremony and banquet on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.
