Coventry Public Schools is excited to welcome students and families to the 2025–26 school year! Below is important information regarding new student registration, PowerSchool access, and school-specific orientation events.
First Day of School
Wednesday, August 27, 2025 – Full Day for all PK–12 students.
PowerSchool Parent Portal & Annual Forms
Families will receive instructions before school begins on how to access their child’s information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This system allows parents/guardians to update student information and electronically sign all annual district forms.
New Student Registration
Online registration for all new students is now open. To register:
1. Visit www.coventrypublicschools.org
2. Click “Registration” or navigate to “District” > “New Student Registration”
3. Complete the pre-registration form
4. Once approved, you'll receive an email from coventryregistration@coventryct.org with next steps
