Coventry High School (CHS) Center Stage Drama Co. presents their fall play: The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder, by Pat Cook. The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder, by Pat Cook will whisk you back to the 1990s with the fashion and decor—giving you a "Golden Girls" feel as the "women of a certain age" bicker and banter over writing a murder mystery play for their arts society to perform. Shenanigans ensue when two escaped convicts choose the house as a hide out and a goofy cop flubs it 
up. Content warning: 2 fake guns are used as props, but never fired.

The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder is a two act play and runs about 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission. Licensing and permission to perform granted by Eldridge Publishing Company in Lancaster, PA.
