The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder, by Pat Cook will whisk you back to the 1990s with the fashion and decor—giving you a "Golden Girls" feel as the "women of a certain age" bicker and banter over writing a murder mystery play for their arts society to perform. Shenanigans ensue when two escaped convicts choose the house as a hide out and a goofy cop flubs it
up. Content warning: 2 fake guns are used as props, but never fired.
The Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder is a two act play and runs about 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission. Licensing and permission to perform granted by Eldridge Publishing Company in Lancaster, PA.
