CHS: Volleyball Captures Class S State Championship

On Friday, November 14, the Coventry High School (CHS) volleyball team claimed the Class S State Championship title with a dominant 3–0 victory over Canton High School. The win marks the program’s thirteenth state championship, further strengthening CHS Volleyball’s legacy as one of the premier high school programs in the state.

The Patriots showcased exceptional teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the championship match, controlling play from start to finish against a strong Canton team.

In addition to securing the state title, the Patriots were crowned North Central Connecticut Conference (NCCC) regular season and tournament champions, demonstrating consistent excellence across all levels of competition. They conclude their season with an outstanding 23–3 overall record.

The Coventry community celebrates the team’s success and looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in CHS Athletics.
