GHR and CNH students Participated in ACDA Choir

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, six students from G.H. Robertson School (GHR) and four students from Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School (CNH) participated in the Connecticut chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), the very first Premiere Choirs. Under the direction of a guest conductor, students throughout Connecticut met at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) to rehearse pieces of music composed specifically for this festival.

The following GHR students participated in the Unison/2 Part Choir:

  • Breandan Earle
  • Gio Gallagher
  • Willow Gentile
  • Lily Jaworski
  • Melissa Pascino
  • Ellasyn Svoboda

The Unison/2 Part Choir premiered a piece titled, “Two Songs for Autumn” by Rob Hugh and was conducted by Lauren Torres-Lambert.

The following CNH students participated in the Soprano Alto Baritone (SAB) Choir:

  • Rayna Bynes
  • Ruth Marquez
  • Hannah Milkie
  • Madelyn Sowa

The SAB Choir premiered a piece titled, “Make Peace Happen” by Brian Jones and was conducted by Olivia Black.
