When can I go home?

You can leave after you have defended your portfolio.

Who has to come?

Every Senior who is expecting to participate in Graduation and receive a CHS Diploma.

What's the time limit?

Each student will have ten minutes to defend their senior portfolio.

What if I'm late?

You must attend during your assigned time slot or you will not be able to present. If you miss your assigned time slot, you must contact Ms. LeBlanc to schedule a time to present your portfolio at a later date.

What if I can't be there?

See the principal to explain your extenuating situation ASAP. You cannot graduate without your portfolio earning the approval of teachers at the Senior Portfolio Night.

Where is it ?

Sign-in will be in the hallway outside the main office during Senior Portfolio Night.  Students will sign in and will be given their presentation location.

How does it work?

Students will be given a time slot for when their defense will take place. Seniors will be giving their presentation in a classroom to at a minimum of three staff members. Although this is an open event, so it is possible any given room will have extra spectators.

What if I don't go?

You would have to give a SUCCESSFUL FORMAL PORTFOLIO PRESENTATION TO A GROUP OF TEACHERS in order to graduate.

What if I transferred?

Transfer students will be expected to complete the full Portfolio, but those students may be given special consideration if they receive an "I" at the Portfolio Night, but have shown a conscientious, honest effort to fulfill most of the objectives after transferring in Senior year. If you aren't receiving a CHS Diploma, then you aren't required to do the Portfolio (exchange students, etc.)

What if I don't show up?

You are not able to graduate.

How will I be scored?
