CHS Girls Track & Field

The Coventry High School (CHS) girls track and field team made school history on Monday, June 1, by winning the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) Class S State Championship at Willow Brook Park in New Britain.

Competing against 33 other Class S schools from across Connecticut, the Patriots delivered an outstanding team performance to earn the state title, the first girls track and field state championship in CHS history.

The championship reflects the dedication, hard work, and perseverance of the student-athletes throughout the season, as well as the commitment and guidance provided by the coaching staff. The team's achievement represents a significant milestone for CHS athletics and is a source of pride for the entire Coventry community.

The Patriots' historic victory caps off an exceptional season and secures a place in the school's athletic record books.

Coventry Public Schools congratulates the student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters who contributed to this remarkable achievement.
