Updates
Veterans Day
Do you have a family member in the military? November 11th is Veterans Day and we are looking for family members that have served, or are currently serving, in the military. In addition to a paper copy being sent home, attached you will find two (2) forms, one for a veteran and the other is for a current soldier. Please fill it out and return to school by November 3rd. We will be displaying all of these on our Wall of Honor in the gym lobby. Thank you for being a part of this school-wide activity to honor our veterans and current active military members!

Parent-Teacher Fall Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 4 through Friday, November 6, 2026. Please schedule a conference.
Literacy O’Lanterns!
It’s time to celebrate our love of literacy through family pumpkin decorating! All students are invited to decorate a pumpkin with a favorite character from a book or design a book cover. You can use paint, Sharpies, carve or use any materials you wish! Bring your pumpkin to GHR main office beginning on October 13th, and we will display it in our library where all students will be able to view them. Upcoming Literacy Night
All K-5 families are invited to attend our Family Literacy Night! This event will be held at CGS from 5:30-7:00 on Wednesday, October 21st. Please join us for a night celebrating reading.
