On May 18, Marissa Dalfonso and Ryan Schumacher, both 8th grade students at Capt. Nathan Hale School (CNH), were honored at the annual Scholar Leader Banquet hosted by the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, CT.

Each year, CAS recognizes two outstanding students from each middle school in Connecticut for their excellence in scholarship and leadership both in school and in their communities. Marissa and Ryan were selected for this prestigious recognition due to their strong academic performance, positive influence, and dedication to extracurricular activities.

The event was attended by Principal Ross Sward, Assistant Principal Christian Marcinczyk, and invited teachers Kyle Macsuga and William Cherniske, along with proud family members.

The Scholar Leader Banquet continues to be a highlight of the academic year, celebrating the future leaders of Connecticut.
