Hiring Paraeducators
If you are interested in supporting our school community, we are hiring for paraeducators for the 2026-2027 school year at GHR! Your work hours are aligned with your child’s school day/year, and you can make a difference at GHR. Apply today!
A Token of Appreciation
This week, students will be coming home with a special "Spike's Squad" cup from GHR, as we were recognized this spring with the CT Association of Schools prestigious 2026 Elementary School of the Year. Great job to all our students for representing GHR!
Paperless Report Card Access
Your child’s report card will be available June 15th through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Directions that provide an overview of how to access the report card are available on the Coventry Public Schools website under Quicklinks. Report cards can be printed through the Parent Portal. As a reminder, please know that paper copies of report cards are available upon request by contacting your child’s school.

From Last Week
Grade 5 Promotion Ceremony
We are excited to see everyone on Monday, June 15th for the Grade 5 promotion ceremony which begins at 10 am in the GHR Gymnasium for approximately one hour.
Guests are welcome beginning at 9:30 a.m. with first-come first-served seating. Please be prepared to show I.D.
For safety purposes, we are not able to accommodate backpacks, large diaper bags and strollers. If at all possible, please consider leaving these items in your vehicle.
When you arrive, please check in at your student’s table by teacher name at the gym lobby entrance.
If you plan on taking your student(s) with you when you leave please note that in PickUp Patrol as an “Early Dismissal” as soon as possible so the office may prepare. Siblings in grades 3 and/or 4 will be called down to the gym lobby at 11:15 a.m.
