Reminder to complete your Annual PowerSchool Updates and Submit your Device Fee:

The Annual Update for students is now open for all students Pre-K through Grade 12. An Annual Update must be completed for all students enrolled. Please note: daycare forms are no longer a separate form; you can make the default option in PickUp Patrol to DAYCARE. One optional form is the Bus Stop Release form if you wish to allow your child(ren) to be released off the bus without a parent present. This form does not be completed as an Annual Update. A page that includes links to help documents for annual update and fees can be found on the Annual Update, Fees and Bus Information page of our website.

Transportation Information- PickUp Patrol, Arrival, Dismissal & Bus Information

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please review the important transportation information below and confirm or make any necessary changes to your student’s transportation plan.

PickUp Patrol – Confirm or Change Transportation

Please check your email for a Welcome Email from PickUp Patrol. Please register if you have not done so already. Need to change your student's PM transportation default plan? Please email: mahmadi@coventryct.org

Arrival:

If you are dropping off your child, please go up and around the upper parking lot and drop your child off at the end of the lot, outside the cafeteria doors. A staff member will be on the sidewalk to assist students beginning at

8:10 am- 8:30 am.

You do not need to get out of your car. We ask that you go up and around the upper parking lot to help keep traffic flowing. This also allows staff to access the upper parking lot for parking purposes.

Dismissal:

If you are picking up your child(ren), our afternoon dismissal will be a car line in our rear parking lot. Please remain in your vehicle.

Dismissal begins at 3:10 p.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. We encourage parents to arrive no earlier than 3:00 p.m. and to wait at the designated pick-up sign. The adult picking up your child must be PowerSchool approved and must provide a driver’s license for identification purposes when prompted. You may add approved adults for pick-ups under "Contacts" in the Annual PowerSchool Update Forms. All pick-ups must be noted in PickUp Patrol.

Bus Transportation:

Please note that bus assignments, including detailed stops and pick-up/drop-off times, are available on the

Coventry Public Schools website.

If you have any questions regarding transportation, please contact the school office at

860-742-7341

or the Dattco Parent Line at 860-838-7351

.Nurse Updates

Welcome back for another busy school year! For those students that require medication during their school day, we are extending an invitation for parents and guardians to bring medication and authorizations to the nurse during the Meet the Teacher event on Tuesday, August 25th from 2:30-3:30pm. While planning, please be aware of the following:

  • Each medication at school, no matter if it's prescribed or over-the-counter, must have a valid healthcare provider authorization on file in the Health Office. Our Medication Administration Form is attached for your convenience.

  • All medication must be in its original pharmacy or manufacturer labeled container.

  • Medication must be brought to the nurse by an adult.

Please do not send medication to school with children.

We are excited to work with your family once again this academic year! Reach out with questions anytime.
